You Need:
Raeesa’s Date Loaf Premix
1 egg
50ml oil
180m1 boiling water
60ml buttermilk
200g chopped pitted dates
Method:
1. Soak chopped dates in boiling water & set aside
2. Whisk together egg & oil
3. Add premix and mix
4. Add the soaked date / water mixture and mix
5. Lastly, add buttermilk and mix well
6. Spoon mixture into 22cm loaf tin (greased and floured)
7. Bake at 180 degrees for 1 hour / until done
8. Test with a skewer and allow to cool
